Rangeland Monitoring Internship
Want to gain experience working in rangeland and weed science? Spend a summer as an intern at the Sheridan Research and Extension Center!
You will have the opportunity to support multiple research programs at the Sheridan R&E Center and around the state focused on invasive species management and rangeland restoration. You will also gain experience assisting with data collection, surveying for invasive weeds, harvesting and processing of forage, and assisting with research trial layout and implementation.
No prior experience required, all training will occur on the job.
Must by 18 years or older to apply.
40 hours/week, $15/hour

Research Internship in Plant Breeding
Spend a summer in Sheridan, Wyoming gaining experience in plant breeding research. Be a team member in greenhouse and field production, field data collection, cross-pollination, harvesting, and more.
Learn about plant breeding in: Peas, dry beans, popping beans, sugar beets, soybeans, native plants, alfalfa, and others.
No prior experience required, all training will occur on the job.
Must by 18 years or older to apply.
40 hours/week, $16/hour
